American Pre-Primary & Lower Primary General Tutor with 4 years’ Experience

I enjoy teaching, most especially, I love tutoring children in elementary school between the ages 6 and 11 because this is where my strength lies; imparting knowledge to beginners for a bright future. I employ several teaching techniques depending on the objectives of the tuition.

Essentially, I set up an efficient and productive coaching schedule with the tutee’s collaboration. Then, I familiarize the tutee with the basics of each subject topic in a relaxed mood. Also, I engage the tutee in a lot of independent tasks, but continually supervise the tutee where necessary. I remain fully involved in the growth process of my tutees and I orientate myself to their level for maximum productivity.

I provide tuition for core primary school subjects like English, mathematics, science and social studies within the American primary school curriculum. In the area of teaching English, I assist children in phonics, fluency, vocabulary, spelling and writing. With regards to mathematics, I usually introduce the tutee to mathematical ideas in ways that develop depth of understanding and create enjoyment. For science, important concepts and theories of scientific studies are explored in ways that stimulate curiosity and emphasize understanding to promote learning that is useful and relevant. In addition, I incorporate the moral and ethical development of a child in my tuition sessions.

I'm a smart graduate of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure.

I have a great passion to see children grow and develop into self-reliant adults because I believe the world deserves such kinds of people. Consequently, I do the work necessary to tilt the odds by grooming children academically and morally in order to produce excellent scholars and leaders.

My strengths are in English, mathematics and science. However, I enjoy assisting children in the areas of computing and cultural studies. I'm someone who is consistently growing and taking time to learn continuously as it is a direct requirement of an educational expert.
