Common Entrance Math Tutor
I like to teach children because they are quick to understand and they have this excitement in learning as long as you are friends with them. They have so much energy, they are quick to show you the problems they solved, do assignments etc. Last year I was staying at Jakande Estate, Mile 2. I had this neighbour whose child was preparing for Common Entrance, so it became a duty for me. We met 3 times during the week and Saturdays, we formed a bond. I enjoyed teaching Him and he enjoyed learning. The parents were really amazed at the development. He wrote and passed His exams (Common Entrance and other secondary schools He applied to, doing best in Mathematics). I remember the morning I was packing my things to move to my new place, He really cried and carried one of my bags for me. The very first step in teaching a child, is making the child believe He is more than capable, making the child feel special, becoming his/her friend, then going at a pace He/She can cope with, being ever smiling and friendly. Mathematics is never difficult, understanding is key.

I am a Process Engineer at Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals and a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin (2016) with a very high IQ. I have taught right from before my undergraduate studies, all through my undergraduate studies and during my NYSC. I have had to prepare students for common entrance, WASSCE, NECO, GCE and UTME, while I have also taught senior secondary students and undergraduate students. I have taught over a span of 5 years. My love for teaching and also making life easy for students led me to creating an online platform of learning, Nimble.ng currently undergoing revamp. My method of teaching involves developing, maintaining and stimulating students' interest and engagement in Mathematics to encourage and foster intellectual curiosity for improved performance which impacts directly in examination scores. I set up appropriate tasks and challenges after each class, providing constructive feedback upon marking to strengthen students' learning abilities. I try my best to establish positive professional relationships with students, supporting academic and personal growth. I am very patient and learn to be friends with my students which allows them to open up fully and help us move faster. I am available to teach Mathematics in the weekend as I have to work Monday to Friday.

Field Services Trainee and Design Engineer
Mar 2018 - Apr 2019
As a Field Services Trainee, I was involved with 3d laser scanning of onshore and offshore facilities, my most memorable experience was the 3d laser scanning of NLNG trains 5 and 6 at Bonny Island. I tagged it most memorable because of the constant light and the lack of traffic unlike in Lagos. Then as a Design Engineer, I was into Datasheets preparation, consistency of PI & Ds, preparation of Line lists etc. I followed instructions by my Team Lead.
