Lesson

Many pupils have phobia for Mathematics due to diverse reasons which can stem from the calculations, complex formulas, unclear explanations by their teachers e.t.c. These phobias go a long way in affecting their performances in the subject. However, Mathematics can be simple, given the right attitude, ambiance, learning materials and tutor to teach, motivate and inspire these pupils to attain their full potentials.

I am reliable, flexible and able to adapt to a range of individual needs and settings. Pupils within my care enjoy learning, develop confidence and make outstanding progress. I can help overcome maths phobias by starting where the child is, building confidence slowly and celebrating every achievement. I am flexible, put the child at the core and ensure that each child has the best tailored approach to achieve success.

I assess my pupils progress in the subject through thorough conduction of weekly assessments and rigorous homeworks and use of illustrative materials (graphs, charts, objects) to help in their development. I have helped "E" grade pupils attain "A" grades in less than 3 months, as they now enjoy the subject. I am readily available when the need arises and I am willing to make my pupils be masters in the subject.
