I teach English Language 3-4 periods weekly. Previous topics are revised before new topics are introduced. I help pupils improve on their essay writing, reading abilities, communication skills, and grammar proficiencies . I teach topics systematically for better understanding. I facilitate and teach difficult concepts by breaking down topics, I re-teach (when the need arises) and also evaluate understanding.
I am also recognized for developing and implementing activities that improves learning and behavioural skills, as well as confidence and self-reliance. I prepare innovative classroom games to reinforce the concepts of the topics being taught. I also provide feedback to pupils on their academic performances as well as to their Parents/Guardians. I maintain effective behavioural management within the classroom by incorporating positive reinforcement strategies.
I motivate and influence pupils to take charge of their own learning and set their own goals. I encourage pupils to embark on researches on educative sites. I permit pupils to state definitions of terms in their own words but not without encouraging them to include the keywords of these terms. I foster beneficial and supportive relationships among pupils.
