About

My name is Bello, I am a graduate of Pure and Applied Chemistry from Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-ife. I have a Postgraduate Degree in Education and a Cambridge International Teachers' Certification.

With over five (5) years of teaching experience, I have successfully prepared Primary and Secondary School Students for not just internal examination in Mathematics, English language and Science, but for external examinations who performed outstandingly. Examinations like O- levels and A- levels.

I am very conversant with the Nigerian as well as the British Educational Curriculum. Having probed further into a comparative research of the British Educational curriculum through my inquisitive nature, I have also taken Alison Educational courses.

Like Benjamin Franklin rightly said, “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, Involve me and I learn.” My teaching style is based around this motto.

My sessions are as interactive as possible, explaining complex ideas in inspiring and interesting ways, making it simple to understand. I believe in setting a good base on which to build upon and then tackling exam questions and focusing on exam technique. Above all, I encourage my students to have fun and enjoy learning.

After first meeting a student, I make a thorough assessment of what I believe they need most from me, which could be anything from simple organisational instruction through to exam tricks and techniques, but it is with confidence that I feel I do my best work: those expectations that I hold dictate that I believe in all of my students entirely and wholeheartedly and, as such, means that I push my students into expressing themselves as faithfully and as completely as possible at all times. For me, the confidence is always there; sometimes it just needs teasing out.
