I am highly passionate and enthusiastic about imparting knowledge into children and education in general.

In my lessons, I aim to build an engaging, positive and creative atmosphere in which children can flourish. For me, the importance of teaching is to allow children to access all areas of learning in a way that they enjoy, enabling them to gain a love for learning that will hopefully continue throughout their education.

I believe that teaching is about the individual and discovering how each child learns and what helps them. I have patience, I am creative and to me there is no such thing as a silly question!

I like to view my lessons as an opportunity to inform and consolidate understanding through active engagement in a specific topic or subject being taught rather than it being a lecture. Having worked with students of various ages, I have come to notice a common trend: often, the basic knowledge of how to answer a question or solve a problem is present, but the student lacks the skill-set to confidently perform or solve that problem independently.
