I have a lot of effective experience in teaching Grammar, phonics/phonetics (Diction), literary writing and literature in Port Harcourt. I have also tutored over twenty A'level students on Literature(drama, prose and poetry) in Port Harcourt. I have been able to Increase student’s performance on spoken English to enable them understand and tackle any difficult word and accurately interpret or pronounce words correctly,increase their performance on written English or Grammar to enable them write effortlessly and accurately conforming to the rules governing grammar and also increase the student’s performance on how to summarize, analyze and do a proper Book Review on any novel or article given.

I encourage students to be goal-oriented and maintain enthusiasm and motivation by establishing clear attainable milestones, which strike a balance between challenging them and also developing confidence. Most importantly, however, I think it is essential that the students enjoy their sessions and that the subject matter is made relevant and relatable. I consider myself to be very positive, patient and approachable and I strive to cultivate a safe environment in which students feel comfortable to express their difficulties and explore diverse methods to enhance learning and achieve their desired aims.

My unique and different ways of handling students from diverse backgrounds and different levels of assimilation in order to achieve success is my motivating factor and the students in turn will have the enthusiasm to learn and be successful.
