My name is Jamil. I am a graduate of Geography from Bayero University Kano.

I have spent the last four years working full-time as a male boarding house parent and geography/civic education teacher at Landmark College Lagos, that specializes in educational content.

During that time, I have logged hundreds of hours doing everything related to adolescents from diverse cultural background. I teach, oversee and ensure the smooth running of the day to day activities of my classroom and the boys hostel of over 200 students. I am also very familiar with the best practices in students welfare and counseling in boarding house. I was privileged to attend seminars and in-house training related to the job. What I like most about the job is that it gives me opportunity to impart positive attitude and knowledge to young minds.

I am an experienced teacher in Basic science and Mathematics.

My philosophy to teaching is to turn ugly ducklings into beautiful swans because no child is dull but with a little push, a child would be on top.
