About

My name is Opeyemi, I am a graduate of Nursery and Primary Education from Ekiti State University

I also have a National Certificate in Education from Adeniran Ogunsanya College Of Education where i studied Primary Education and Mathematics.

For the past nine years i have had the privilege of teaching children in Nursery and Primary school Mathematics, Diction, English Language and other art related subjects. I have also trained many students on special handwriting method which entails Nelson and cursive writing.

I also train my students on character building, leading abilities and activities that help sharpen their mind.

My years of experience and qualification has thought me various approaches and methods to impart knowledge in my students. One of which is thematic and the other montessori.

The thematic approach allows me teach in a more natural and less fragmented way, whereby i divide lesson times into different subject areas whereby my students practice exercises frequently related to nothing other than what i am teaching.

Montessori is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. I allow my students make creative choices in their learning, while i find age-appropriate activities to guide the process of their learning.

I allow my students work in groups and individually to discover and explore knowledge of the world and to develop their maximum potential.

My role is to ensure that i tackle learning material with my students, I make sure that we regularly revisit what we've learnt in previous weeks. Recapping our progress at the beginning of each lesson means that new-found knowledge sticks in my student's long-term memory.
