The essence of teaching numeracy to children from an early age is so that as the child grows, he/she is prepared to use Mathematics to understand certain situations or issues better and also to help build their capacity and confidence in figures since a lot children seem to have a certain phobia for figure related subjects at some point in their lives.

My experience as a teacher has enabled me realize that the issue communication between teacher and student cannot be overemphasized.


Its therefore of utmost importance to me that I am able to effectively get whatever I am teaching across to my student in such a way that he/she understands it fully.

it is also important to me that my student are able to communicate and relate to me without any forms of barrier at any point in time.
