Victoria S.
Basic Science and Technology Tutor
About
I am a goal driven, patient and passionate educator with over five (5) years teaching experience and I would love to pass on my passion and enthusiasm to others.
Over the last five years, I have taught the lower and upper levels of Primary Schools and also Junior Secondary levels in different schools Using The British/National Curriculum and conducting home tutorials. I teach all subjects but with more focus on English Language, Mathematics and Science disciplines.
I am skilled in adopting to the student's diverse learning styles (e.g the slow learners). I have the ability to explain difficult areas in a variety of ways and I encourage creativity and higher order thinking in a way that increases the student's performance.
I believe that structure is key to success, hence I try to make sure that after each lesson, I hold conversations with my students and I get feedback on how the lesson was held. This helps to make the sessions enjoyable and more interesting, rather than a chore to get out of the way.
It gives me great joy when parents testify to their children's performance at the end of tutoring sessions and I believe if you give me a try, you would not regret but testify just like other proud parents.
