I am a professional IELTS Expert. I have been teaching both IELTS Academic and General training for more than twenty years now. I am a dedicated and a resultoriented tutor. My dedication, determination and passion for teaching has earned me a good reputation across Nigeria and beyond. I have helped countless number of students prepare successfully for IELTS exam, with a tolal band score of 8 and 8.5. I studied Bachelor of Arts in English, and acquired some certification in Conversational English and Test of English as a Foreign Language.
Though people see IELTS exam as very difficult, I often say it's not difficult but tricky. It thrives in synonyms of words. Ability to identify cue word/ words in questions, and use their synonyms to identify the answers in paragraphs is key. Besides, it's strategies and instructions laden. Failure to follow the instructions, and inability of students to apply the right strategy to a particular question type, especially in the Reading and Listening Sections of the exam, accounts for the mass failure often times experienced.
Therefore, an experienced tutor helps the learner to understand the various strategies and how to apply them when answering a particular question. He also engages the learner in a rigorous practice sessions, using the strategies, followed by a painstaking review, in order to maximize chances for an outstanding performance.
I am a professional teacher. I studied BA English from Lagos State University. I've been teaching the English Language (at both local and Int'l levels)for more than a decade now. Besides, i am a result oriented tutor who can sacrifice his comfort for good result.
