I am a graduate of Technical Education and Sociology from Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education and University of Ibadan respectively.

With over a decade of teaching experience, I've had the privilege of guiding nearly a hundred students in Mathematics ( Upper Primary and Junior secondary), Government, Civic Education, Common Entrance, Basic Science, BECE, and WAEC. My dedication, expertise, and passion for education have yielded consistent results, earning me a reputation as a trusted and effective educator.

 

Notably, I received the prestigious 'Best Class Manager' award at Taqwa Schools in 2024, a testament to my exceptional classroom leadership and student management skills.

    • Promote high academic standards in pupils' Performances in accordance with the approved academic work schemes and benchmarks. • Prepare well planned lessons that will provide high quality learning experiences and opportunities for the children, as well as ensure that every child's learning profile is taken into consideration. • Ensure my children's exercise books and workbooks are marked and necessary corrections done promptly. • Ensure that there is adequate and prompt assessment of children's (academic and behavioural) progress to ascertain where there is a gap for remediation. • Draw up short and long term plans that will ensure that each child is working towards the year level's learning goals. • Update all statutory records such as the Scheme of Work, Attendance Register, Mark-Sheets, Psychomotor and Affective domains in the Diary. Plan, prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments to evaluate students' progress • Maintain open communication with pupils' parents through the Communication Book, Emails and official Phone Calls and to report serious issues to the Supervisor for onward prompt resolution. • Give realistic targets, based on the scheme of work, that are relevant to a pupil's need with the view of remediating a gap or a need in the child's academics. • Maintain / Update / Submit all your proper records: - Daily Attendance, Diary, Daily Reports (which will include illnesses, absences, accidents and incidents). • Ensure my class and all equipment are safe for children. • Ensure that the class is a safe place for children, that equipment is safe and to ensure specific needs of children are known. • To undertake any other duties as directed by the Supervisor, or superior, in accordance with the school's objectives.
