In creative writing, I usually encourage my students to spend some time writing in class, where I can see them write or not write.
I believe a good tutor should help students connect to reading and writing and this I do. what I let them know is the idea is not just to read literature for content and theme but to come to understand the strategies professional authors use and pass them on to students. I teach skills, like spelling and grammar especially within the context of writing and I test my students afterwards.

My name is Ada, I am a graduate of Pharmacology from the University of Lagos. I am a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator with an aptitude to remain flexible, ensuring that every child's learning styles and abilities are addressed in the course of their learning and one who is committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging to students.
I have over 5 years of experience working as a private tutor in the areas of Math, English, Basic science and Creative writing.
I currently live in Lagos where I have tutored a lot of students who have written various exams both internally and externally and have all excellently passed.
