I am a stickler for language excellence and exactitude. I am a poet, playwright and a puritanical grammarian. I am also a phonics/ phonetics instructor.

I believe that the best results are achieved when students are given the freedom to formulate their own opinions, before having these sensitively challenged.

Also, asking testing questions is central to my approach in every lesson, and I aim to equip my tutees with an intellectual confidence that will serve them well in tricky exams and beyond.

I begin each class by way of introducing the thought to the subject matter, using common or general scenarios that they can easily and quickly relate with. After which class begins properly with an interactive manner of approach and delivery. At the end of each class, class exercises are doled out to the students and assignments also for the purpose of home practice.
