Adeniyi O.

My name is Adeniyi. I am a graduate of Mathematics, from the Lagos State University, with a Second Class (Hons) Upper Division and i have just concluded my Masters degree program in Mathematics specializing in the field of Algebra at the University of Ibadan.

I have over five years experience teaching Further Mathematics and Mathematics, and i endeavor to help my students feel the same fascination with these subjects as i do. It is also important to me that my student truly understands the concepts they are learning, as i find this is the best way to retain the information and apply it to solving problems.

I particularly love that light bulb moment when a student understands a new concept! I take the time to acquaint myself with each student’s learning style and level of ability so i can tailor my teaching style to their needs, and focus on creating a comfortable atmosphere for my students to ask questions.

I am very passionate and enthusiastic about teaching, and take a structured and detailed approach in order to instill confidence in my students and help develop their skills. I have learnt to be adaptable, flexible and dynamic in order to meet the individual needs of each student, and having taught a wide range of ages and abilities across the spectrum, i understand the importance of employing different learning styles and strategies in order to maximize each student's full potential.
