Music Theory Tutor
Enthusiastic Music Teacher
My aim is to inspire and motivate my students to find fun and enjoyment when engaging with music.
Whether it be by learning how to play their favorite songs, discovering new music, or by gaining a deeper understanding of the theory behind the music, how it works and how it is created.
Each lesson always begin with an explanation and demonstration making sure that information is passed in easy to understand bite size pieces, i then give my students task to complete and where necessary assistance is given.
My name is Adedayo, I am a graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University where i studied Foreign Languages. I also have other professional qualifications such as a diploma in French Langugage Studies from the Federal Republic of France, professional certificate in Musical Studies from the Musical Society of Nigeria which was sponsored by MTN, Nigeria. I am also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management(chattered).
I have been teaching French Language, Musical Theory, Piano, Violin, Vocal Techniques,Trumpet, to mention a few for over four (4) years.
In my years of teaching, I have found myself in front of really difficult situations due to the circumstances that surrounds some of my students, however I never let this discourage me instead i always see these circumstances as challenges to overcome and learn from. While gaining experience and improving as a teacher.
My approach to teaching starts with the first class been focused on learning my students general level in each subject and what they expect to achieve from each class and at the end of the session. I use these information to create an appropriate individual lesson plan for my students taking into account their skills and what needs to be done and improve in order to reach the aim.
