My name is Afolayan. I am a graduate of Chemistry from the Prestigious University of Lagos.

I am an Analytical Chemist with experience in conventional and advanced analytical chemistry and expertise in analysis performance, analytical instrumentation (characterization of products).

I have health, safety and environmental coordination, a proven track record as a charismatic achiever, an intelligent, honest, and a very good team player with positive attitude, dedication and definiteness of purpose backed by former employers' testimonial.

I have a Masters of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry, a Bachelor of Science BSc. (Hons) Industrial Chemistry. I also have a certification in Health, Safety & Environment.

My approach to teaching is based on effective communication and periodic feedback, providing my students with a sense of positive personal interaction, increased self-esteem, self-efficacy and self-regulation. These are characteristics that lead to success in and beyond school.

It begins with assessing my students’ academic strengths and weaknesses, and follows by developing a working relationship with them to ensure the desired outcome, matching lessons with their learning style by introducing material in the format best suited to them and thus enhancing their learning process.

I assess my student’s progress continuously, in order to adapt the lessons accordingly, e.g. in terms of pace, contents or challenges.

Regardless of the level of the students, i help them with Chemistry, from the fundamental to the more advanced topics.
