My name is Ahmed, I am a graduate of Agricultural and Bio resources Engineering from Olabisi Onabanjo University. I am very conversant with the British and American Curriculum. For five years now, I have successfully prepared students for Internal and External Examinations in a plethora of subjects.

I am a firm believer in Carol Dweck's "growth mindset" philosophy that argues that intelligence is not fixed and success can be achieved through hard work and a belief that one is capable of the seemingly impossible given enough effective practice. I strive to achieve this by instilling in my students a determination to succeed and a confidence in their own abilities that allows them to maximize their potential.

I also work with the students to improve their meta-cognition and encourage them to understand when they are learning and committing things to their long term memory.

It is important to develop techniques unique to each student that aid long term retention and show students how to develop these for themselves.

My engaging style, academic background and high standards ensure that every pupil I teach feels confident and makes excellent progress, as well as enjoys their learning.

As an experienced teacher, I know exactly how to tailor my lessons to the individual in order for them to achieve their potential.
