My approach to tutoring focuses on enabling students to improve their own work by assisting them to check for errors and self-correct. In addition to guiding students through answers, I think it is always useful to show students how to find great learning resources and how to use them, so that they may continue to work independently in the future. I also believe in working together with students to find which learning and revision methods work best for them, be it a repeated use of textbooks and practice worksheets, mnemonics or a more visual approach.
About
I am a professional and experienced teacher of over 17 years.
Having taught both upper and lower primary levels respectively for 9 years both with British and Nigeria curriculum, I also have a well grounded experience teaching students in the nursery level particularly 1 and 2 using the jolly phonics method.
In my search to be more professional in this 21st century, I have attended and still attending seminars in order to upgrade my teaching skills. Some seminars attended are: Teachers development program which include: how children learn, differentiation in learning, working with dyslexia kids facilitated ted by Havilah Educonsult.

I specialize in English language, Mathematics, Sciences and speech work for all primary classes and jolly phonics for nursery classes,with more emphasis on Numeracy and Literacy. My teaching method is interactive I use the playway method for nursery kids.
