It is my fundamental belief that making lessons interesting for my students is crucial in effective teaching.
This is especially so for mathematics, where a huge amount of learning takes place while my students are doing unassisted exercises.
Through my encouraging and animated approach to tutorials, i aim to instill a passion in my students, so that they will respond to such exercises with enthusiasm and confidence.
My name is Aladeniji, I am a graduate of Mathematics from Usmanu Danfodio University. I have five years of productive experience teaching Mathematics as a Secondary School teacher and a private tutor.
I believe in tailoring tutoring to the specific needs of my student.
Mathematics is a subject that presents many challenges, so it is important to build confidence with the fundamentals and establish an environment where my students is comfortable and feels free to ask questions and explore the subject at their own pace.
Ultimately i see myself as someone who helps to empower and inspire my students to become an independent learner so that they can take charge of their own learning and achieve their goals using the power of their mind.
Most of the students i teach have a specific goal and i therefore ensure that i know the details of the syllabus and examination requirements.
I feel it is important for my students to gain the confidence to ask questions in a relaxed atmosphere without pressure from their peers and i encourage their active participation in our sessions, by working together through problems once the theory has been covered.

My approach to tutoring is student-driven and question-based. 'Student-driven' means that each lesson is tailored to their own needs and concerns. We tackle the topics that they find most challenging and build confidence from there. 'Question-based' means that i always keep my students engaged and on their toes. They are an active participant in the lesson and enjoy rising to the challenge.
