Quantitative Reasoning Tutor
Ultimately I see the tutor as someone who helps to empower and inspire the student to become an independent learner so that they can take charge of their own learning and achieve their goals using the power of their mind.
I studied Applied Geophysics from the University of Calabar.
I am very passionate Mathematics tutor with a touch of excellence.
I have an active progressive teaching experience of eight years, teaching Mathematics in very creative ways.
In my years of teaching I have found out that major reason students fail Maths is because of the way teachers in class teach it. They make it seem difficult and impossible, but my style is to make it as simple as possible relating it to real life situations. This method over time has placed me far above my colleagues. My aim as a private tutor is: To offer excellent and targeted learning which addresses specific learning challenges that the student is currently facing, To equip students with exam preparation strategies and help them learn techniques that enable them to achieve and succeed in their subjects, To encourage and motivate students to learn by recognising that when they enjoy their subject, they are more likely to experience success.
