Experienced Mathematics Teacher

As a mathematics teacher, i understand that mathematics can seem quite intimidating.  Therefore in teaching  mathematics i first of all start by creating exciting imaginations in my students by showing them the unusual or unexpected. I show them how mathematics can be used creatively to represent, measure, and predict other situations.

I identify the knowledge, skills and understanding each of my students require.

I pause and take stock to review their process with them. I highlight the strategies and processes upon which they are able to draw; provide opportunities that allows my students to make connections and show how ideas in mathematics, and how their learning can be applied to new aspects of mathematics.

About

My name is Adebowale, I am a Graduate of Quantity Surveying  from the University of Lagos.

I am also a Certified Mathematics and Physics teacher with a National Diploma in Education.

For over two (2) years i have successfully taught students in secondary school and prepared them for both internal and external exams such as, WASSCE, UTME, TOFEL, SAT, just to mention a few.

My approach to teaching is quite simple. I make sure i focus on each student individually, i engage my students in a lively dialogue and make sure to get feedback. This allows my students grow in confidence as learners. I bring enthusiasm and energy to my teaching.

Thanks to my diploma and years of experience as a teacher, my approach to teaching is also informative, where relevant, with a sound understanding of the assessment requirements for both public examinations and school entrance examinations.
