My engaging and supportive teaching method of Civic Education helps to boost students confidence in the subject. I make Civic Education personally relevant and interesting by finding a different way to approach each topic so as to make each topic simple and intuitive. I also have a great passion for the subject and my students can attest that my enthusiasm and positivity helps a great deal with making them feel positive about their abilities. I am very patient and encouraging and will always make sure every student feels they have gained confidence to independently approach any topic.

My name is Babra. I am a graduate of History and International Relations from Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin.

For over a year, I have gained extensive experience helping students achieve success at all levels of primary and junior secondary.

I also have experience working with students at Common Entrance and Junior WAEC Examination preparation, guiding the students towards success by helping them develop study skills for their entrance examination and preparing effectively by focussing on the areas of weakness and building knowledge from there.

I believe in a creative approach to learning. My work with students involve creating programmes that suits the students needs, mapping out goals and assessing the goals every week, and this has helped my students excel not just in school but also in their entrance examinations.

    Before each class, I set out a clearly defined lesson plan, then i list out the resources needed for the lesson because nothing is worse than having the perfect lesson planned only to find out that you are missing an important material. After each class I give out homework which I go through with the student in the next class.
