Statistics Tutor
Resourceful Statistics Tutor
As a Statistics tutor, I feel strongly that an optimistic 'you can do it' approach eliminates the student's fear of Statistics.
When tutoring, my policy is that no question is too big or too little. It is important that no student is ever made inadequate for not knowing something. This boosts their confidence which enables them to tackle questions in statistics and above all, to enjoy their studies.
About
My name is Benedict, a graduate of Economics and Statistics from the University of Benin.
I have worked as a teacher and a private tutor for over three (3) years teaching Economics and Statistics to Senior Secondary school students.
Over the years all my students have performed above their predicted grades in both internal and external Examinations like WAEC and A-Levels.
I have a flexible approach to teaching by finding out dynamic ways to convey ideas and taking into consideration the needs of each student and working with their abilities.
I have found that teaching a subject from the core concept and very basics, step by step through to the wider applications is best for ensuring a complete understanding.

Before each lesson, I set out a lesson plan for the day detailing the objective for the day and then ensuring I make judicious use of the time frame allocated for the class. I also ensure that the class is interactive because students tend to grasp faster when the class is interactive. At the end of the class, I check the work of the student and assess the progress of the student. If satisfied, I give out homework to keep the student busy before the next class.
