About

My name is Cecilia, I am a citizen of Benin Republic. I am a graduate of French Language from Imo State University. I speak English and French fluently.

For over four (4) years, I have tutored kids in Nursery and Primary School French and within a short period of time, my students speak and write French fluently.

My first aim with my lessons is to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere where my students and i can work.

I do not enforce learning, Instead i focus on the abilities of my students by providing a relaxed but focused environment  for learning.

I believe that success can be achieved by understanding the principles of the French. I incorporate all the required factors that makes learning conducive and interesting for students.

I understand the importance of employing different learning styles and strategies in order to maximise each student's full potential.

Knowing fully well that French is not the first Language of most of my students, I always prepare a detailed lesson structure before each class, detailing what I want to achieve for the class and ensuring that I am able to maximise the time frame allocated to the class. I try to make French fun as much as possible by incorporating various fun activities like acting, singing and dancing. This makes it difficult for the student to forget what I have taught. After i am satisfied that what I have taught for the day is fully understood, I give out class work. This will tell me if the students have fully understood or not. I make corrections where necessary and I give them practice exercises to keep them occupied till the next class.
