I firmly agree that success is achieved when students are given the freedom to formulate their own opinions, before having these sensitively challenged. Asking testing questions is central to my strategies in every lesson, and I aim to equip my tutees with an intellectual confidence that will serve them well in tricky exams and beyond.

This approach also demands flexibility on behalf of the tutor and, as a result, I always make sure to tailor lessons and schemes of work according to the exact requirements of each pupil.

Hard work and dedication are also crucial to achieving your goal, and throughout my classes I look for ways to get students enthused and keen to put in the time, which will help them with independent study. It is only when I think they are working to the best of their ability that I am satisfied.

I taught students in Primary 3 and 4. I taught Mathematics, English Language, Literacy, Numeracy, Social Studies, Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning. I did this with the aid of a detailed lesson plan and I made sure to present lessons in a detailed and lively manner. I issued tests, assessments and assignments to students to help me evaluate the extent to which they have been able to grasp what is being taught to them.

I have taught children at the various levels of primary section. When I first meet with a student/child, I make sure to carry out an evaluation/assessment to enable me know the areas where I would need to work on with the child. This would also enable me know the boundaries of the child and help me tailor my tuition to suit/meet the needs of the child.
