My approach to teaching Science focuses on building the confidence of my students, particularly surrounding exam preparation and techniques. I work closely with each of my students to determine the ways in which they learn best, their interests, strengths and weaknesses, and feed this back into my tutoring methods, creating a tailor-made learning experience. My methods are, also informed by a thorough understanding of assessment requirements and criteria both for school entrance examinations and public examinations. I thoroughly enjoy teaching science, and I always transmit my enthusiasm and energy to my students.
About
My name is Folarin, i am a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University from the Faculty of Science.
For over two (2) years i have been teaching students in Primary and Secondary School Mathematics, Agriculture and other science subjects.
My experience has made my love and passion for teaching increase greatly. My joy is helping my students really get a grip of what they need to feel happier and more confident in the classroom.
My approach to teaching is simple, i first of all start by meeting my students, I work with them to understand what it is they want to get out of the lessons so that I can go about building a plan for the lessons tailored to their goal.
I teach from the scratch using examples and explanations that my students can understand and relate to. l take my students through each topic at a pace that they feel comfortable at. I set homework to test my students understanding. In preparation for exams, i give ideas for revision that will help my students style in learning and various past papers to prepare them for various exam format.
