Agricultural science is a broad multidisciplinary field of biology that encompasses the parts of exact, natural, economic and social sciences that are used in the practice and understanding of agriculture.
Agricultural Science is critical to the well being of the planet and all the life forms on it, including humans. I have had much experience in scientific communication, both oral and written. My teaching has been one-on-one (my favorite), in small groups, and in large groups.
My name is James, I am a graduate of Geology from Federal University of Technology, Minna.
In my years of teaching, I have discovered that every student is unique in his or her approach to learning. I strongly embrace such individuality, tailoring my own approach and teaching techniques to each student's specific needs, whilst drawing out the full potential of this uniqueness.
My methods are, of course, also informed by a thorough understanding of assessment requirements and criteria both for school entrance examinations and public examinations.
I believe that a positive and confident attitude towards the academic subject being studied can be hugely beneficial in terms of results, and I try to engender this by providing a supportive yet challenging relationship and environment for study.
I use a mixture of humour and rigorous learning, and also aim not just to focus on the exam, but to broaden the student's general cultural outlook.

I always keep my students stimulated and engaged, I switch between difficult exercises and more relaxed tasks, which stretches them beyond the syllabus. I often build a reading list to both improve performance and extend the student's knowledge. Every few sessions I will set a mini test, to test the student's understanding of previous lessons, i carry out my evaluation and make corrections where necessary.
