My name is Jones, I am a graduate of Applied Microbiology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
I have over 10 years of productive experience working as a private tutor in the areas of mathematics, biology, geography and primary school subjects. I have have successfully tutored over 20 students and pupils for common entrance, checkpoint, WAEC, GCE, CAPLAN and PETERSON.
I want the best for my students. I believe that the best way to help a student attain his or her greatest goals is by taking an individualized approach; one size does not fit all when it comes to standardized testing and preparatory school and university admissions.
I begin each tutor-student relationship with a big-picture session assessing the students' interests, ambitions, and abilities. By taking the time to pinpoint his or her strengths and weaknesses, we can more effectively target our lesson plan to see the best results. I believe every student deserves a tutor who will take the time to understand their individual needs, hopes, and challenges.
In taking this holistic approach to the student's education, I am also able to pinpoint the best ways to motivate them. I find results are best achieved with a combination of kindness and clear expectations. I have a history of helping students build the discipline and focus needed to get their work done and achieve their goals.

My teaching manner focuses on helping the student to UNDERSTAND the material instead of memorizing the material. When a student Understands a topic, it remains with the student forever, while memorizing tends to be short-lived.
