Mathematics has evolved significantly over the past decade. I have found that pupils are now required to have a deeper understanding of why they are applying rules or processes in a mathematical context. Therefore I endeavor to part this knowledge on my pupils so that they can enjoy Mathematics and see it for what it is.

About

Hi. I am Laura, a graduate of Covenant University Nigeria, where i studied Computer Science, with a First Class Honors.

I have a wide experience record teaching adults the use of Computer Assisted Auditing Tools, such as Microsoft Excel and Structured Query Language. I also have tutoring experience from my undergraduate study where I often tutored my course-mates on concepts that needed clarifications. I have also been a tutor to my younger cousin for computer science and mathematical subjects.

With my level and type of experience, I would be a better tutor for older children in secondary schools, undergraduates and adults who need to gain basic computing or mathematics knowledge.

I am interested in tutoring Mathematical concepts, Physics, Computer Science, Programming, use of Microsoft Office Tools, Numeracy and any other mathematical or computing related subjects as this is where my strength lies.

I look forward to helping you succeed, attain excellent grades, or gain better understanding of any related subject matter.

Building self confidence and fostering a love for the subjects is my overall aim. To do this I endeavor to establish a close working relationship with each student based on trust and confidence that he will facilitate their exam success as well as address their wider educational needs. Thought process, rather than content, lies at the heart of his ambition to develop self sufficient learners, yet he appreciates that content and technique cannot be underestimated when preparing for exams.
