My name is Douglas I'm a qualified teacher with 10 years of experience.

As a teacher I would aim to help my tutee in two main ways: firstly I would help them learn, understand and remember the facts and knowledge they need to know. secondly I'll use my enthusiasm to engage the tutee, using pictures, diagrams, videos or whichever method my tutees prefer and request to learn best with.

I aim to provide effective and meaningful tutorials through careful and detailed explanation of theory that is reinforced by walkthroughs of practice exercises. In addition to this approach to tutorial structure, I will ensure there is effective use of discussion and analysis between myself and students in order to successfully understand new concepts or just revise learnt material effectively. My goal is to inspire, motivate and challenge my students to discover their purpose and stive to achieve them.
