Tutoring is about getting a student to become inspired by a subject by really getting through to them and finding out how they can connect with it. It is my belief that if a student doesn't understand what you are saying, you aren't tutoring them properly! That said, there are somethings that usually always work. Therefore I try to keep a good balance between tailoring lessons to a student's individual needs and using the reliable tools for learning that create results.
About
I'm a graduate of sociology and psychology from Delta State University. I hold a post graduate degree in Education and I am a trained Montessori Directress from the North American Montessori Centre, Canada .
I have 10 years teaching experience both in the primary and nursery session. I'm currently a nursery teacher in one of the benchmark schools in Nigeria .My strength lies in the ability to help struggling children learn to read.
My teaching technique has always been child centred, focusing on the weaknesses of the child and working hard to make those weaknesses become strengths. Every student has different ways of assimilating and I am flexible enough to fit every child's learning process to bring out the best in them.
