English Language Tutor
As a teacher, I ensure I incorporate the different parts of English Language (reading, spelling, listening, creative writing, diction, etc) in my teaching process.

I endeavor to render an individual-based style of tutoring. It is geared around a recognition that ability, circumstances and character differ from student to student.
My core subjects are Mathematics, English Language and Sciences. Over the years, I have been able to successfully prepare students for entrance examinations into various schools, WAEC, NECO, Checkpoint, Common Entrance and IGCSE examinations.
Over the years as a teacher and a private tutor, I have been exposed to the fact that a child's best results are usually achieved when the child's confidence is built about the subjects and also if there is a good rapport between student and teacher.
I aspire to make my lessons fun and thorough whilst fulfilling all the requirements of the curriculum.
The aim of my approach is not just to tick boxes on a syllabus or repair specific faults, though both are often necessary components of my work: I set out to not only teach my students but to also work with them.
I believe that building a genuine relationship with a student is of great importance and that the greatest progress is made is by establishing open, honest and authentic dialogues.
Asking testing questions is central to my approach in every lesson, and I aim to equip my tutees with an intellectual confidence that will serve them well in tricky exams and beyond. This approach also demands flexibility on behalf of the tutor and, as a result, I always make sure to tailor lessons and schemes of work according to the exact requirements of each pupil.
