Mathematics Tutor
Experienced Mathematics Tutor
Having tutored Mathematics for years and worked with a number of students, i have found out that each student learns and makes sense of Mathematics in particular ways. As such, I try to match my teaching style with the learning style of the student because no two students are the same, and personalising my tutoring approach accordingly has proven to be far more successful and rewarding.
About
My name is Oluwasola, I am a graduate of Applied Geology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
For three (3) years, I have been teaching all levels of primary and secondary school students. Due to my in-depth familiarity with examination and marking schemes, I have successfully tutored my students for both internal and external examinations.
In my years of teaching, I have discovered that success can often be achieved by bringing complex subjects back to their fundamentals. I combine this approach with an engaging attitude, a high expectation of independent and creative work, and finally a supportive, knowledgeable environment for development.
The relationship with my students is something i value greatly and spend some time in the first lesson establishing a common interest, as well as trying to get to know what interests them and this has been my secret for success with my students.

To have a productive lesson session, the first thing I do is to create a well detailed lesson plan detailing what I intend to achieve in a particular class, how I intend to achieve it and the time frame I need to achieve it. After every class, there is a classwork given to the student to ascertain the level of understanding, then I give a recap of what has been taught to ensure that my goal for that day was fully achieved.
