Oshinaike M.
English Language Tutor
Proficient English Language Teacher
English Language comprises of different parts. In my teaching process, I endeavor to incorporate all these aspects so the child is thoroughly grounded in the subject. These aspects include: Grammar, Lexis and Structure, Essay and Creative Writing, Spelling, Reading, Comprehension, Phonics, etc.
About
I endeavor to render an individual-based style of tutoring. It is geared around a recognition that ability, circumstances and character differ from student to student.
My approach and strategies may sometimes vary, but the constant in my tutoring is a sympathetic, calm but challenging manner. My tutoring process aims at instilling confidence, both in the subjects I am working on with a student, and also in their general educational and personal development.
The aim of my approach is not just to tick boxes on a syllabus or repair specific faults, though both are often necessary components of my work: I set out to not only teach my students but to also work with them.
My relationships with some of my teachers whilst I was at school, formed a significant role in my own personal development. I developed a rapport with my teachers and tutors, and this helped me to progress educationally, cultivate various skills and map out my future.
It is with a similar temperament that I approach one-to-one professional tutoring.
I have gathered teaching experience from several primary schools where I have taught on a part-time basis.
In recent years, my teaching techniques have proven to create active participation and notable progress in the performance of my students.
