Levels Taught: Upper Primary, Junior Secondary, Upper Secondary, Under Graduate, Professional Exams
I think students perform the best when they are the most engaged in what they are learning, when they can connect their learning to things they already love, whether that’s activities, interests or hobbies. The most important aspect of private tuition, in my view, is that I develop a relationship with my students which goes beyond the teacher-pupil arrangement, so they can grow in confidence with the knowledge that they have a mentor to support them both academically and in personal development.
I have a passion for teaching creatively and helping children develop a deep understanding of the topic by immersing them in the subject, and giving them the opportunity to take ownership over their learning. My main aim and philosophy in education is to ensure that children develop a firm set of skills which can then be applied laterally as their knowledge base grows, with an emphasis on developing their ability to think critically, communicate and collaborate effectively. I’m firm, fair and hopefully quite fun all at the same time, and enjoy giving children individual support and the time to ask questions, with the aim of ensuring they feel confident and secure enough to pursue the next step in their education.

Western College Yaba
I teach Mathematics and Further Mathematics to students in JSS 1 and 2 and also SS1, 2 and 3. I carry this out by preparing a lesson note which is usually mapped out in line with the school's curriculum and scheme of work. I work along with other Subject Teachers on how to improve ther performance of the students. I also carry out evaluation on all of my students to help me know if they grasp what I have taught them and also to depict their weak areas for us to take into consideration to deal with.
