When teaching Mathematics, the first thing i concentrate on is my student`s confidence. I like to get a good understanding of a student's strengths, and where there is room for improvement, encouraging the strengths whilst addressing the aspects that need working on.
About
My name is Sobola. I am an graduate of Mathematics from the University of Lagos.
I have 10 years of productive experience working as a private tutor in the areas of Mathematics and Economics. I have also successfully tutor over 60 students to pass various school examinations(WAEC,NECO,GCE,IGCSE).
My rare skills of imparting knowledge remains my major strength as my students remain highly motivated and successful even after my reign as their tutor.
For students preparing for exams, we work extensively on exam technique, breaking down what can often seem like an extremely daunting endeavor into manageable tasks where they understand exactly what is being asked for by the examiners.
I am encouraging, very friendly and try to make my lessons as fun as possible, to help each student reconfigure their relationship to subjects they find challenging.

I agree that the most important foundation for tutoring is that my students feels engaged and interested. Without this, it is difficult to achieve long-term success and diligence. As such, the lessons must be captivating. From past experience, i appreciate that this can be realized in disparate ways - while some students may be engaged through being challenged, others may prefer lessons that give focus to their own particular interests.
