About

My name is Susan, am a Philosophy graduate from the University of Benin

I have 6 years of experience in teaching both the British (EYFS) and American (MONTESSORI) curriculum. I also teach with the Nigerian curriculum. My teaching experience has been so tremendous and I enjoy teaching children. I am an experienced tutor who has excelled in teaching and impacting positively on kids I will be able to fulfill my aspirations.  I am well grounded in : adverbs, verbs, adjectives, conjunctions, prepositions, nouns and pronouns. I also specialize in helping children in PRONUNCIATION of words as well as SPEECH DEVELOPMENT. I teach from foundation (the English sounds - short vowels, long vowels, diphthongs, consonants), transcription, voiced and voiceless consonants, and other topics that are instrumental to speaking right. My personalized approach ensures all variants of students are able to grasp and understand the details of the subject. Your child will learn to solve problems using numbers, algebra (symbols), geometry (shapes), measurement and statistics. They will be counting forwards and backwards in their heads starting from the biggest number, rather than from 1. They may also use their fingers to keep track of numbers. Your child will learn to skip count (e.g 5, 10, 15, 20) and to work with basic fractions. My students should expect an amazing time with me, combining methods to improve their knowledge base. I would need to create the right mindset for my students and teaching tools to positively impact on them.
