I believe that structure is the key to any education. I want my tutorials to consist of aiding and motivating students to achieve their full potential, and after a subject is learned, I think it is best to perform informal tests to understand areas of weakness and strength. Then in further tutorials, we can go over these areas to turn them all into the strong ones.
Levels Taught: Lower Primary, Upper Primary
Teaches students: Ages 3 - 12
Prepclass Tutor Since: March 2016
I have worked within Prepclass for more than 6 months providing tuition including exam coaching, confidence building and support. Having previously been employed on a Full-Time Professional Teacher, I am very conversant with a lot of teaching techniques and I incorporate all the required factors that makes learning conducive and interesting for students.
My goal is to improve my students grades by adopting accelerated learning techniques.
I possess the ability to work unsupervised and I pay particular attention to details with emphasis on a methodical approach.
If the student has specific ares of weakness these can be focused until they are comfortable and we find a pace and progression that they are comfortable with.
Students will be helped to achieve their goals with easy and fast contact. In problem areas we will build from the basics before learning how and when to apply this and improve problem solving skills, learning and enthusiasm will be provided by providing small stepping stones rather than large jumps in difficulty.
