The personal relationship with my students is something I value greatly and spend some time in the first lesson establishing areas of common interest, as well as trying to get to know what interests them and what particular hurdles they face. It is this relationship that is vital to ensuring that I am able to tailor my lessons according to a specific child's abilities and interests.
About
I studied International Studies and Diplomacy from the University of Benin, Nigeria I am a strategist fueled by the fire of compassion. This disposition, and the fact that I have been trained in emotional intelligence remains for me a motivation as a teacher.
I have extensive experience as an English and literature teacher. And presently a volunteer instructor at the Lovelyn Clair Mentoring Academy in Lagos. As an Emotional Intelligence Instructor I have been able to foster a classroom environment conducive for learning and improve students' overall character and self confidence, promoting excellent Tutor/Student interaction.
I have helped school-age pupils to develop both spoken and written competence in English language. I have over five years experience as a classroom teacher.
I have taught students preparing for external exams such as WAEC, NECO and JAMB and can proudly say that I have had a 100% success rate in this. I have delivered top notch lessons and my students have improved on spoken English, Creative Writing, have boosted their confidence in their ability to speak publicly.

I develop programs that help school-age pupils to develop good spoken and written English competency. And I administer tests, evaluate, and analyse student/mentee performance. Develop excellent rapport with students. Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and promoting excellent Mentee/Mentor interaction. Design and teach lessons in Emotional Intelligence. Tutor and mentor Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary School in an after school (Holiday Program).
