Excellent Social Studies Teacher

Social Science is a branch of study which deals with Human Beings – their behaviour, growth and development, relationships, resources they use and the various institutions they require to function and carry on their life smoothly. For example – family, school, workplace, government, judiciary, recreation clubs, etc. All these aspects of life are inter-related and interdependent on one another. So whether one wants to become a doctor or an engineer or a chartered accountant, an artist or a teacher, we all have to live in a society, interact with individuals belonging to different cultural and socio- economic backgrounds, adapt to various situations and circumstances, and also adhere to certain societal norms in order to lead a peaceful and productive life.

I endeavor to render an individual-based style of tutoring. It is geared around a recognition that ability, circumstances and character differ from student to student.

My approach and strategies may sometimes vary, but the constant in my tutoring is a sympathetic, calm but challenging manner. My tutoring process aims at instilling confidence, both in the subjects I am working on with a student, and also in their general educational and personal development.

The aim of my approach is not just to tick boxes on a syllabus or repair specific faults, though both are often necessary components of my work: I set out to not only teach my students but to also work with them.

My relationships with some of my teachers whilst I was at school, formed a significant role in my own personal development. I developed a rapport with my teachers and tutors, and this helped me to progress educationally, cultivate various skills and map out my future.

It is with a similar temperament that I approach one-to-one professional tutoring.

I have gathered teaching experience from several primary schools where I have taught on a part-time basis.

In recent years, my teaching techniques have proven to create active participation and notable progress in the performance of my students.
